This weekend sees the start of the Star Wars Weekends at Disney World Hollywood Studios. Since 1997 this annual event has thrilled Disney World and Star Wars fans with an opportunity to mix and mingle with Celebrity guests from the original movies, watch motorcades, enjoy special Star Tours ride-a-thons, and collect Star Wars memorabilia. Late on Thursday night (May 20) a new 288 pound baby female elephant was born at Animal Kingdom, Disney World. Both the mother, Donna, and the baby are now bonding and resting before being seen at the Kilimanjaro Safari in several weeks time.
